Feral hogs are an increasing problem in Tennessee and throughout many states.  Feral hog control requires a customized solution that may involve trapping and/or shooting. Alternate, nonlethal, methods are often not effective.

Feral hogs, also known as feral pigs or wild hogs, have spread through much of the United States.  Wherever feral hogs roam, they cause damage to agricultural areas, lawns, landscapes, and forests and threaten native wildlife.  They may spread disease to livestock and other animals or to humans.

Feral hogs can be quite frightening.  The average size of an adult male is 220 pounds, while the average size of an adult female is about 155 pounds.
